The University of Aveiro's Business Incubator (IEUA) supports the development of business ideas and innovative companies created by university members. It provides incubation programs, office and meeting spaces, equipment, administrative services, and training to help ideas grow into successful businesses. IEUA has supported over 35 entrepreneurs and helped incubated companies generate jobs and economic impact in the region.

4. IEUA Start Business Incubation Program
Support for the incubation of business ideas and companies is developed
through IEUA Start, a business incubation program that is divided into four
phases, with a maximum duration of 150 weeks.

The application process is completed with the definition of the incubation
plan, which specifies the timeline for the actions to be carried out, individuals
responsible for those actions, costs, spaces, equipment and services.
