History of work leading up to recent developments
Inspired by the events of 9/11 and mounting conflicts in the middle east around our global need for oil, I
became very concerned about the path we were on. I started to consider our current levels of
consumption and alternative energy sources, how could I might be able to play a role in developing
possible solutions?
By 1999 my deep concern and inquiry around how to contribute to our environmental issues lead me
into reactivating my interest in electric power generation. In this new pursuit, I began evaluating the
current design and performance of our existing generators and how Generator Armature Reaction
contributed primarily to the inefficiency of generating electricity and the pollution produced;
greenhouse gas emissions, nuclear waste etc.
Over the next 8 years this became my primary focus and passion. I sold my businesses and spent all my
time and resources studying and looking for loop holes in the accepted laws of physics regarding
Generator Armature Reaction's induced Counter Electromagnetic Torque, designing, building and
rebuilding generator prototypes with a focus on reducing electromagnetically induced losses, increasing
efficiency and reducing pollution.
In 2005 from the original prototypes I constructed, I was able to demonstrate the viability of my ideas
and was successful in securing $1.5 million in ongoing investor funding.
In 2007 the original idea of reducing Generator Armature Reaction by 10% by physically diverting and
disposing of the parasitic electromagnetically induced magnetic fields shifted. I discovered that it was
possible to delay in the time domain the production of these magnetic fields and not only eliminate
100% of their negative effects but that Generator Armature Reaction could actually be reversed and the
magnetic fields produced could actually be used for something useful and beneficial.
From 2008-2010.5 in the Power Lab at Ottawa University Electrical Engineering Department we
established the scientific explanation regarding the ReGenX Generator’s Regenerative Acceleration
Effect and secured the ReGenX Generator US patent which was issued in 2018.
2. From 2007-2018 continuous intellectual property development was required because early ReGenX
Generators coils were not capable of producing any usable electrical output power, they could only
produce on-load system acceleration. During this R&D period, time was spent developing ReGenX
Generator coils which could deliver usable electric output power and system acceleration. We now have
commercially manufactured ReGenX Generator coils which have successfully been produced in China,
California & Toronto.
Current Technology Status 2019- A brief Technical Explanation Advantages of this Development
Currently Potential Difference has commercially manufactured ReGenX Generator Coils that can deliver
in excess of 1 kW of electric output power per coil with Generator Armature Reaction reversal - in other
words; a 0.00 Watt on-load mechanical drive shaft input power increase.
Electric vehicles can now employ any number of said ReGenX Generator Coils to deliver virtually any
magnitude of EV battery recharging - with EV acceleration in Electric Vehicle Regenerative Acceleration
Mode above 30 km/hr and with traditional EV deceleration in conventional EV regenerative braking
mode.
Global electric power generation facilities can now employ ReGenX Generators to reduce input energy
costs in electric power generation by more than 80%.
For example, wind turbines employing ReGenX Generators (which operate in the absence of Generator
Armature Reaction and which require 80% less mechanical input power) can be 80% smaller than
existing wind turbines while still delivering the same or more electrical output power to the grid than
traditionally sized wind turbines. Electric generating facilities which consume fossil fuels and nuclear
energy can generate electricity with 80% less input while producing 80% less pollution and nuclear
waste.
