It is very important to control the
intensity of the effort that you make
when practicing exercise.
To control it, the most simple method is
to measure our heart activity, that is,
our heart rate:
Heart rate: number of heart beats per
minute (BPM)

CALCULATE
Your heart beats must be measured during a
minute. However, after a minute your heart rate
can be lower, so it is better to measure your
heart beats using the following techniques:
♥ In 30 seconds and multiplying them by 2
♥ In 15 seconds and multiplying them by 4
♥ In 6 seconds and multiplying them by 10
