Practices in Cherlapalli
• The general garbage from industrial units is being
deposited in and around community bins located on
street corners arranged by the local authority.
• Apart from garbage, the industrial units are depositing
the hazardous industrial wastes like used oils, chemical
wastes, effluents etc., in the bins, open nalas, and on
road sides.
• The trimmings of plants, gardens, dry leafs which are bio
degradable are also deposited on road sides
• The authorized and unauthorized road side commercial
establishments are also depositing their garbage
indiscriminately on road sides
• Apart from this the industrial units and commercial
establishments are leaving their effluents, waste water
onto the roads causing damage to the roads and creating
unhygienic environment in Cherlappali.
