The Communication Process involves the elements of effective communication which includes clarity of the messages and individual within the process as to channel, settings and attitudes of effecting the message.

3. The communication process is the process of
exchanging information, ideas and feelings.
There are 6 elements:
• senders and receivers
• messages
• channels
• feebacks
• Blocks
• settings
4. Every message must be sent, received and
understood for communication to happen.
Both verbal and non-verbal means are used to
send and receive messages:
Verbal – speaking and writing
Non-verbal – facial expressions and body
language.
5. Messages are the substance of communicating
the information, ideas, or feelings the sender or
writer wants to share.
Channels are the avenues by which the message
is delivered such as sight, sound
written word, email and letters.
6. Feedbacks are the receivers responses to the
messages
Blocks are the things that interfere with the
understanding of the message e.g. attitudes, facial
expression, tones etc
Settings – Where the communication take place.
7. About 70% of your working hours are spent
communication. About approximately 40% of
that time is spent listening.
