New Agencies On-Boarding
Please help us welcome our two newest agencies:
Sherwood School District; and
Department of Land Conservation (DLCD)
Matt Brown is working with Sherwood School District and
Dan Maguire with DLCD to create their builds. We are ex-
cited to have them moving forward into implementation.
HP TRIM Regional Users Group
The HP TRIM Regional User’s Group was formed a couple of years ago with
some of the ORMS Pilot Agencies. This group has now grown to include all
regional HP TRIM users that would like to attend and contribute.
The City of Beaverton was chosen as the most centralized location for the
meetings. Debbie Baidenmann for the City of Beaverton “has been very gra-
cious to send out the agendas and host”, says Teresa Zak from the City of West
Linn. The City of Beaverton also uses Sharepoint and was able to create a Re-
gional Users Group site, where agencies post documents policies, procedures,
users guides, discussions, presentations and other information.

HP TRIM End User Training
Update for ORMS Clients
The End User Training Videos are almost ready to post.
Kathy Schamp has been working to add narration to the
ORMS training videos. They are awaiting final approval
before posting.

The ORMS WebDrawer is being validated in the production
environment (ORMSDS) and should be ready for review soon.
Dan Cantrall and Connor Edmonds with the SoS Archives
Dept. along with Greg Heithaus and Kei Nishida from Arik-
kan, have been working diligently to get WebDrawer up and
running.

At Chaves Consulting, we have a tradition of recognizing

All the pilot agencies have worked hard during implementation of
ORMS to make the project successful. We also like recognize
some of those individuals for their creativity and willingness to go

This month we would like to recognize Teresa Zak from the City
of West Linn with a Beyond The Call!Beyond The Call!Beyond The Call!Beyond The Call! ® Award. We recognize her
many contributions including her leading role in forming the HP
TRIM Regional User’s Group, which meets every month.
Teresa has written and contributed to many guidelines,
procedures, file naming conventions and training materials,
which have eased the City’s transition to implementing TRIM.
She has also been willing to share her knowledge with other
ORMS clients and prospective clients.
We appreciate all of this and more. Thank you Teresa for going

The ORMS Team continues to work hard to implement HP TRIM for the ORMS agencies

ORMS Advisory Committee (OAC)
Now that the Pilot has ended, the ORMS Team is forming an
ORMS Advisory Committee (OAC). Richard Chaves (CCI),
Venkat Subramanian (Arikkan), Mary Beth Herkert (OR State
Archivist) and Connor Edmonds (OR Records Manager) will act
as representatives for the committee. Agency representatives
will be selected from State, City, County and Special Districts.
The purpose of the OAC is to provide recommendations and
advice regarding HP TRIM/Records Manager version upgrades
and business process changes.
