Already in 2018, China is over performing on its solar PV NDC component and is on track for the wind objective. China’s NDC includes a 2030 target of 20% energy mix. India confirmed national renewable targets in the NDC India’s active renewable energy target setting and policy adoption is driving green growth for power generation. National 2022 targets were confirmed in the NDC however, no 2030 objectives were added. Yet, renewables were not specifically mentioned in the EU NDC. These are mostly developing countries of Latin America, Asia and Africa followed by San Marino.
