 Develop logistics strategy, policies & procedures to manage all logistics related activities (logistics infrastruc ture, stock
management, transportation and delivery) to ensure timely flow of merchandise from warehouse to customers/retailers
(DIFOT)
 Drive the process for identification and selection of appropriate logistics partners, and provide inputs and business cases

warehouses.
Store/Inventory Management:
 Planning, directing and maintaining efficient store operations; assigning and evaluating the work p erformance of
personnel assigned to the store. Monitoring stocks & consumption patterns, overseeing receipts & issues from fresh,
inter-branch, outside printer & outside rewinding stocks.
 Planning physical layout of warehouse for storage of materials, finished goods & consumables and ensuring smooth
accounting, issue of material based on FIFO method.
 Monitoring receipts of raw, packing and miscellaneous material. Preparation of GRNs, storage of materials, dispensing of
RM/PM as per CGMP and BMR to Production dept.
 To carry out cycle count on weekly basis by selecting items randomly. Organizing six month and annual stock
verification. Disposal of scrap, non-moving and rejected materials.
 Carrying out storehouse & inventory management and monitoring the replenishment of stock items by raising purchase
indents and delivery advices & scrutinizing purchase indents.
 Undertaking perpetual inventory checks of stock at regular intervals, co-ordinate with marketing department for receipt,
checking and clarification of all incoming sales/ purchase orders.
 Efficiently handle inventory, for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production/dispatch targets.
 Maintain the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification; monitoring hygiene; taking safety
measures as per the quality standards.
 Dispose off scrap & return the rejected material to suppliers & moving the raw material from the place of storage to the
place of manufacture.
Cost Saving

 Managing the overall procurement of raw material, electromechanical materials, equipments & machinery and other

maximum cost savings & meeting anticipatory orders for monthly sale.

Materials Management

 Handling and supervising the delivery schedules of PVC, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE Pipes & coils as per customer
