How did you attract/address your audience?
HOW DO PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES
MAKE AN ATTRACTIVE FILM?
• Professional company's make many films look interesting and good however
in reality they are not. They do this in several ways:
• Movie Posters
• TV advertisement
• The cast or crew of the movie
• Teaser trailers
• Word of mouth
MY MOVIE POSTER
• I created a movie poster to create a buzz about my film.
• This is the poster I used to create this buzz
MY MOVIE POSTER
• I saw people looking at my poster and I asked them if they liked it. They said
they like the title of the movie and the phrase that describes the movie, and
therefore they said they would love to see it.
MY CAST & CREW
• My cast was one girl and one boy (me). I am part of a acting company and
have worked with many others including the Royal Shakespeare
Company, this is increased the professionalism of the movie.
• The crew were of the age of the characters in the piece, this meant current
influences and ideas about that age group could be used, this attracted this
age of an audience as they could relate to situation in the movie
WORD OF MOUTH
• Many people were interested when my movie was being published, as they
have seen other movies or video clips I have edited and they wanted to see
other things I can do.
• I told a lot of people about the movie which then created a viral buzz on
social networking sites such as Facebook. This created a hype for the movie.
ADVERTISING ON THE WEB
• I use YouTube as a way of advertising my movie. I put of clips of behind the
scenes footage and my production splash.
• This got many views and had many comments saying they are looking
forward to the full product.
