2. The energy at this time of year is very much
about intentions, goals and possibilities. In
business it's important to keep advancing and
improving if you want to make changes and
see a difference in your profitability. So how
do you get what you want.
3. Even if it's just 5 or 10 minutes a day that
you spend working on your goal, that can add
up to nearly an hour a week. It could be time
well spent on, for example, building your
client list by developing a free give away or
setting up an on-line advertising campaign.
4. I see many business owners with great ideas
hesitate and procrastinate to such an extent
that they talk themselves out of taking action.
My view is that once you have created a new
product or service (it may not be perfect at
first) then it's much easier to make tweaks,
changes and improvements to bring it up to a
higher standard over time. So don't over
think, just start!
5. 'How am I going to live today in order to create
the tomorrow I'm committed to?' (Tony Robbins).
I've found this to make a huge difference in how I
approach my work. Every morning I spend time
before I switch on my computer setting my
intentions for the day, which can range from how
I want to feel, the outcome of meetings/calls, to
the tasks I want to achieve - all within the
context of my longer term goals and dreams.
6. If something you are working on feels like
struggle and effort then for a while let it go
and focus on other things. Giving yourself
some space or free time (without that
negative internal chatter) will create a
different perspective that could help you take
another approach. You'll find that business
and solutions flow with greater ease when
you shift your energy.
7. I know from my own experience and those of
my clients, when you share your goals and
intentions, with someone who fully supports
you, miracles can happen! You'll be much
more committed to achieving results when
someone else knows your plans.
