  2. In this presentation we will look at retail marketing, the cost and time required, along with the execution details, tips, and alternatives in running your campaign.
  3. Introduction to retail marketing Retail operation is a combination of branding and service, and is typically done in a fixed location such as a store or kiosk, but can also include home delivery service. More recently, ecommerce has caught on where in you sell your goods and services through a virtual store online, and customers can come to your site and view different products, read about them, and make a purchase.
  4. Cost and timeframe Costs in retail marketing can vary from industry to industry, store to store, and product to product. Retail marketing is an ongoing process which lasts throughout the life of your business.
  5. Execution plan Franchising, branding, and packaging are all key components to retail marketing, and all of which you should consider when devising a retail marketing plan. Create an identity for your company and product that stays with people and is easily identifiable.
  6. Tips and tactics The key factor in retail marketing is to know your customers, the demographic make up of who buys your products, and their shopping habits. While it is important to understand your own company and products, one eye must always be focused on your industry and its trends.
  7. Alternatives to consider Search engine ads are the tried and true method of internet advertising. You must venture into these campaigns to further advertise your online or fixed retail store.
