neighborhoods. All accommodations have been evaluated by an experienced member of our team, in accordance with the

• The majority of our offered language courses can be taken from a minimum of 1 week up to a maximum of 48 weeks
(depending on the destination) to meet the requirements of all participants.

All of our associated schools maintain a high standard for all on-site facilities to ensure participants’ ongoing success and com-
fort. Furthermore, on an annual basis, we employ a team of inspectors to review each school to guarantee that this stipulated
standard is held and considered a top priority by every school manager. While we do sustain this overall standard, it is impor-
tant to note that each school has a varying layout, design and atmosphere and depending on this, there will be a wide-range of
amenities and features on-site.

Instructors
All of our instructors are graduates of recognized universities, many of which speak several languages fluently. In most cases,
they have studied languages at university and/or have enrolled at a language school abroad and have all been formally trained
within a teaching capacity.
Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad ongoing, regularly scheduled, in-house instructor training program includes workshops
with international experts in foreign language instructing, which helps to maintain up-to-date teaching methodologies and
strategies.
As an accredited group of language schools recognized by several governing bodies, our instructor workshops and training
campaigns have been evaluated and approved to reflect a stipulated set of standards. Thus, on an annual basis our instructors
undergo a rigid performance review to maintain a high level of professionalism and quality within the classroom. Progress of
the participants is continuously monitored and teachers regularly meet on a weekly basis to facilitate organization and ensure
participants are placed at the right level and subsequently in the right courses.
One of our major strengths is our circle of qualified and linguistically sound instructors. It is our belief that qualified instruc-
tors produce qualified participants and thus, we work diligently with all of our staff members to ensure participant success is
an ongoing progression.
OurParticipantDemographics
Our participants generally range from 12 to 80 years of age and are representative of many different cultural backgrounds. We
welcome this diversity and encourage cross-cultural exchange and learning whenever possible. We believe this makes for a
more interesting and enjoyable experience for participants.
While we host a large percentage of university/college and high school participants, we have recently seen an increased num-
ber of professionals who choose programs that combine vacation and language study. We also have many adult participants
simply enjoying a well-earned, extended and exciting cultural adventure.
Our language courses assist in providing the right blend of structure and human connection to participants pursuing either
long and short-term goals while studying abroad. Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad participants come as individuals,
couples, and in groups. The only requirement we hold is the desire to learn!
Our educational methods, materials, activities, and tasks generally vary by group level to reflect the participants’ ability (to
excel in a given learning environment). The majority of our participants hail from the United States, Canada, France, Germany,
England and Spain, although, the international mix is much more pervasive. (See below)

Language Programs & Teaching Methodology and Mission
Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad specializes in the field of instructing languages to international students, promoting a
number of destinations around the world. We have been representing and operating schools in top destinations for over 30
years. Since 1983, it has been our mission to help enthusiastic participants achieve their language learning goals both in the
short and long-term. Our study abroad programs are designed to fully immerse participants in the natural environment of the
target language (and culture).
We offer language programs for various age groups - teens, young adults and 50+. We work with a friendly team of highly
qualified and experienced instructors, administrative staff, customer service, marketing professionals and interns to ensure
that a quality product and service is available to all our of participants. We maintain that class sizes, with an average of 6-8
(and a maximum of 14) participants of the same level per class, to ensure an interactive and fast learning experience.
It is our goal to help participants obtain a deep insight into social and cultural aspects of life abroad and thus, we place equal
importance on the time participants spend beyond the classroom. Full immersion manifests itself as the participants interact
with locals and participate in culturally specific activities. By promoting a clear balance between in-class and out of class learn-
ing, our participants are able to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the given language and culture.
While teaching components will differ slightly between schools, our courses and programs have invariably been developed from
a communication based approach that focus on the four pillars of language instruction and acquisition (listening, speaking,
reading and writing). Our foremost goal is communication, both oral and written.
Furthermore, we attentively try to promote a lateral and consistent curriculum; however, based on access to materials and
resources, it is subject to change school to school. We alternate between educational and published material in each language,
along with authentic materials; such as newspapers, visual aids, magazines, radio and television broadcasts that introduce
participants to local and cultural events.
In-class lessons are always interactive and never teacher focused. In this way, we are promoting an active learning approach to
the language acquisition process that participants will continue to employ long after they graduate from our programs. Many of
our problem solving activities are done in pairs, to encourage the notion that learning a new language is accelerated by
interacting with others.

Studying the myriad rules of a certain language does not bring true knowledge and fluency and therefore, only the use of
the rational, analytical and conscious side of our brain is not sufficient in learning a language. In fact, we all, as native speak-
ers of our own mother language, have NOT learned our language by reading and analyzing sets of grammar rules or through
pedantic corrections (which ultimately cause frustration, fears, apprehension, and resentfulness). Rather, during childhood we
needed to make our mistakes, to have our mistakes pass without people around continuously correcting us and frustrating our
creativity and desire to express ourselves. In fact, what we all needed was a balance between corrections from outside “tutors”
and learning through our own mistakes. The universal educational process commonly referred to as, trial and error.
While it takes on average, four weeks to advance to the next level, because language learning is not an exact science, teach-
ers will often use their discretion toward appropriate and deserving participant advancement. It is an academic achievement,
which also involves a personal and psychological component and therefore some participants voluntarily repeat a particular
level or delay advancement by a week in order to continue the study of particular structures. Since most programs are devel-
oped by a communicative-based approach, our materials, activities and tasks are quite extensive and it is rare that the partici-
pant will repeat the same activities, using the same materials. We have designed our program with this in mind.

At each school affiliated with languages abroad/teenagers abroad, there is a calendar that outlines the various start dates for
each level. Every participant, regardless of level, will undergo a written and oral placement test, which in turn helps us place
them at the right level. Intermediate and advanced speakers can ultimately begin every Monday, while beginners are encour-
aged to follow the respective start dates.
To encourage a high level of comfort and assurance, prior to beginning classes, every participant will go through a comprehen-
sive orientation and information session that introduces school culture, participant progress, course structure, along with
other important details to ensure participant success in a new city. All of this information will be covered and outlined in the
Participant Orientation Manual that every participant will receive on the first day of class.
Following the orientation and information session, participants will begin to transition into their chosen program and intro-
duced to their fellow classmates and instructors. It is our goal to ease the participant into the classroom atmosphere, to once
again, emphasize the notion that for participant success to occur, it is imperative for them to feel comfortable within their
learning environment.
Participants of the Language Holiday Program, after the in-class portion of the day, will proceed with an introduction to their
chosen activity.
On the second day of class, which in most cases will fall on a Tuesday, participants will get right into the swing of things in
order to stay on top of assignments and in-class assessments.

Accommodations
AHomeAwayFromHome
Our language immersion programs offer a variety of accommodation options to match the interests and needs of every partici-
pant. Based on location, participants will have a choice of several different options, from host families to private apartments
to hotels. Regardless of the type of accommodation, we understand that our participants want to know they are staying in
a clean, safe and comfortable environment while studying abroad. It is our goal to help a much as possible throughout this
process so all of our participants share the feeling of “at home” while studying abroad with us!

Every school affiliated with the languages abroad/teenager’s abroad name has an accommodation coordinator who is respon-
sible for finding the right accommodation option for each participant’s needs, and thus ensuring they are happy in their new
environment. Wherever possible, our accommodations are used exclusively by the schools participants.

Participants should check the respective schools for a list of available options. In most cases, junior participants (under the
age of 18) will be limited to homestay and private residence.
CloseandConvenient
All of our selected accommodations, no matter the type, are usually within a maximum of 30 minutes from the school, and
in some cases, depending on the size of the city, travel time may be as short as 5-15 minutes! In rare cases, mostly in larger
cities, travel time can exceed 50 minutes.
LengthofAccommodation
Accommodation is included from the day before classes begin until the day after they conclude, which in most cases is Sunday
to Saturday (except in a few cases such as the Middle East). Participants are expected to check out before noon on Saturday.
Depending on availability, “extra nights” can be booked at an extra fee.

Homestay
In most cases, Homestay receives the most attention from international participants. Living with a host family is probably the
most effective and enjoyable way to become fully immersed and introduced to a particular language and culture.
All families are carefully selected and are visited regularly by the school to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
We also require that they live within a reasonable distance of the school, have ample living space and live in a clean, safe, and
comfortable environment.
Participants have access to all living areas within the home and in most cases are expected to share a bathroom with the fam-
ily. All bed linens and pillows will be provided, however, we do suggest participants bring their own towels. In some cases, the
family may provide a laundry service or laundry facilities, perhaps for a small additional charge.
Our host families will always do their best to engage with the participant in regular conversation to provide a high level of
comfort and acceptability. It is important, however, for the participant to remember that the host family will have different
customs, habits and cuisine than they are generally unfamiliar with.
Our host families range in demographics from young couples without children, to couples with children (of all age groups) to
single adults. We always make an effort to match participants to a host family with common interests to create an ideal match.
Prior to matching participants with families, we ask the participant to provide us with any medical requirements that need to
be met, such as a non-smoking family, special diet or allergies. The more important the issue, the more important it is that the
participant makes it clear at the enrollment stage.
Many of our families provide participants with the option of a single room or shared room with another international partici-
pant. Participants will have the choice of half-board (1 or 2 meals per day) or full-board (3 meals per day). The participant is not
obliged to eat all meals with the family, although it is suggested that the participant notifies the family to minimize the chance
of confusion and miscommunication.
Furnished,SharedApartments
Furnished apartments are well-suited to the participant looking for complete independence and privacy. It is ideal for mature
participants who fully understand their individual needs and wants.
Apartments are usually located within 20-30 minutes (travel time) from school. All apartments are shared amongst interna-
tional participants and in most cases will be occupied by 2-5 individuals. It is therefore imperative for participants to know the
importance of conflict resolution and shared space. Our apartments are co-ed, however, bedrooms will be allocated based on
gender. Every participant will have his/her own, personal key and fob.
All apartments come included with a shared, fully-equipped kitchen (including cooking utensils), an updated bathroom and
separate living areas. The apartments will vary in size and number of bedrooms based on location.

We have different categories of apartments available for participants (availability will depend on location):
•  Standard apartments (Apt1)
•  Comfort apartments (Apt2)
•  Comfort PLUS apartments(Apt3)
The comfort and comfort plus upgrades offer guests a higher level of comfort: In general, they are more spacious and better
equipped with newer and a wider range of amenities and appliances. Comfort Plus apartments are often located close to the
beach or have a pool in the apartment complex.
ALL apartment options are self catering, which means that meals are not included. Participants will be required to buy their
own groceries and prepare their own meals. Often, cooking becomes a social event in the apartment and a great way for partici-
pants to meet their roommates. Many participants have theme nights where they take turns preparing an authentic meal from
their home country for the rest of the participants in the apartment.
For the duration of the stay, participants will be living together and are expected to comply with the house rules. This means
that common living areas must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
In certain locations, we offer studio apartments, perfect for participants seeking optimal privacy, freedom and independence.
This is the only option for participants who want their private quarters and do not want to share accommodation with others.
Our Studio Apartments can vary significantly in size, layout and range of appliances.
Similarly to shared apartments, all of our studio apartments are located 20-30 minutes from the school in safe and secure
neighborhoods. They are all monitored regularly to ensure participants’ needs are met.

Living in a school residence is similar to staying at a university or college dorm. Depending on the location, most school resi-
dences offer a choice of single or double (twin) rooms and in some cases include an optional meal plan as well.
The rooms are similar to hotel rooms and do not include kitchen facilities. Meals are provided in the school dining area or cafete-
ria. (For more information on facilities provided, please refer to the individual school page).

Terms & Conditions
Please be advised that these Terms & Conditions are effective of November 16, 2014 and override any previously written and/or
printed versions.
By signing the Languages Abroad enrollment form participants are thereby stating that they have read and agree to be bound
by all Terms and Conditions of Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad.
Participants have the option of agreeing to the terms & conditions in person or can do so online prior to registration. It is
recommended that every participant and agent thoroughly read through the terms and conditions.
Permits,Passports&Visas
It is the responsibility of the participant to have a valid passport and all visas required to enter the specified country. Partici-
pants should allow for sufficient time to apply for any required visas or permits. Only the consulate or embassy of the country
the participant is visiting can advise him/her on the necessity of a visa and the time frame in which it needs to be applied for.
Pleasenote: Should a participant require an invitation letter from the school in order to apply for a visa for the country of the
program, the participant must request this at the time of enrollment. Languages Abroad charges a non-refundable fee of $120
USD for all invitations/letters, to be paid with the enrollment fees. Should the participant require the letter to be sent via a
courier, there will be an additional fee of $60 USD involved. Visa letters will only be sent once full payment has been received
and the program has been confirmed.
Should a visa be declined or if it was not received, our policies are as follows:

• Participants may postpone the program once without penalty OR
• Provide Languages Abroad with a copy of the visa refusal and receive a refund of all fees minus $250 USD.
Lessthan14daysbeforedeparture:
• Participants may postpone a program for an additional fee of $75 USD OR
• Should the participant choose to cancel a program (for any reason) within 14 days of departure, normal cancellation fees
will apply.
• Should participants choose to postpone a program for any length of time, a new letter of acceptance will need to be issued
and sent to the indicated embassy (charges may apply).

DepositPayments
We encourage participants to pay in full at the time of enrollment; however, at minimum, a deposit and enrollment form must
be received before Languages Abroad will process a booking.
(Note: The Multi destination package will require separate deposits for each program).
The following non-refundable deposits are required of all participants:

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of enrollment. See above.
The balance of all program fees is due no later than 45 days before the program start date. If final payment has not been
received by 21 days prior to the start date, Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad has the right to cancel the program without
notice. All deposits are non-refundable in this case.
For programs booked less than 45 days prior to the start date, full payment is due.

ChangeofProgram
All program changes must be confirmed by Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad at least 2 weeks in advance of the original
program start date. Please note that this date will be considered the date we receive the notice by email, telephone or fax. Any
additional payments due because of the change must be paid immediately. Any refunds owed will be sent by wire transfer upon
completion of the program.
PriortoProgramStart:
Should a participant decide to change programs (dates, course type, accommodation and/or meal options) any time prior to
departure, a charge of $75 USD will incur. This fee, however, will be waived if the participant upgrades program selection (for
example from standard to intensive).
AfterProgramStart:
Should a participant decide to change programs (not including early returns - see below) once the program has begun, the
participant is required to notify Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad by email, telephone or fax at least 2 weeks in advance of
the desired change. In this case a change fee of $150 USD is due immediately.
A maximum of four (4) changes will be allowed to any program, whether prior to or after the program start.
NoticeofCancellation
Notice of cancellation must be made by email, telephone or fax directly to Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad. The date
of cancellation will be considered the date the written notification is received by our office. In this event, the deposit is non-
refundable.

Cancellation insurance is available at 2% of the total amount (minimum $75). The insurance fee must be settled at time of
registration and will only apply if the participant cancels prior to departure due to health reasons (a written confirmation from

RefundPolicy
All refunds are processed within 2 - 4 weeks and issued by bank wire transfer or credit card (only if program fees were paid by
credit card). Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad cannot guarantee a specific date on which participants will receive the pay-

cancelled in honor of local public holidays will not be made up and are not subject to any refund. Specific public holidays can be

only as a guide and is not guaranteed.

No refund will be given for early returns. However, if a participant must cancel a program due to personal reasons, they are
advised to notify Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad by email, telephone or fax and we will review each claim on a case by
case basis. Languages Abroad/Teenagers reserves the right to make final decision on any refunds.
EarlyReturns
Grievances
Participants must inform the school staff immediately of any situation affecting the quality of the language program (includ-
ing, but not limited to, in class instruction or accommodation). Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad reserves the right to
refuse a refund if the participant declines to accept a reasonable solution offered to them by the school staff or Languages
Abroad/Teenagers Abroad. Matters outside of the schools control or Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad shall not be consid-
Arrival&DepartureDates
Unless otherwise discussed, accommodation is available on the Sunday before the course begins until the Saturday following the end of
the course. Extra night accommodations can be booked at the time of enrollment for an additional cost (subject to availability).
We strongly recommend that participants wait to book flights until Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad has confirmed the program.
If a participant has booked an airport pick-up or one is included in the program fee, Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad must receive
the participant’s arrival information at least 2 weeks prior to the program start date. Airport pick-up includes transportation from the
airport to participant accommodation.
If there is no airport pick-up booked or included in the program fee and the participant does not send us arrival information, we can-
not guarantee that the home stay family or residence landlord will be available at the time of arrival. Any additional costs (hotel, taxis,
etc) incurred due to failure to provide Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad with arrival information at least 2 weeks in advance are the
responsibility of the participant.
CourseLevels
Upon arrival, all participants (except absolute beginners) will take a written and oral test to determine their current English
level in order to be placed in the appropriate classes. The test normally takes 15 to 30 minutes to complete. For some schools,
an online test may be available. If this is the case, the test can be sent to the participant via email prior to the program start
date.
It is possible, though not common, that the results of the placement tests lead to cases of only a few participants within a
particular class. In these cases, the school reserves the right to continue instruction as private or semi-private lessons with a
reduced number of classroom hours. These situations are to be considered an upgrade to the program at no extra cost.

ClassHours&Schedule
All lessons at all schools affiliated with Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad last a minimum of 45 minutes. Classes are sched-
uled either in the morning or the afternoon (or both depending on selected intensity). Languages Abroad CANNOT guarantee
specific scheduling requests made by participants. Scheduling is set by each school and may be affected by the program
selected, the scheduling of classes after placement tests, number of participants enrolled in the school, etc.
OrganizedSocialActivities
Most schools offer organized activities after classroom hours. Depending on the activity, there may be a subsequent cost. The
amount relates directly to the type activity and any associated costs (bus fares, museum entrance fees, etc).
SchoolRules&Regulations
Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad programs are designed for participants between the ages of 12 and 65 (Teenagers
Abroad: 12-18, Languages Abroad: 18+). Appropriate supervision will be provided to all participants under the age of 18 in all
circumstances and scenarios (in accordance with Teenagers Abroad supervision policy). Participants are expected to be courte-
ous and respectful guests at all times throughout the program. Illegal drug use or abusive behavior at any age or alcoholic
consumption by minors will not be tolerated and strictly enforced by program instructors and supervisors.
Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad reserves the right to refuse to serve, to cancel and/or terminate participation for any
person who fails to comply with the policies of the program provider (e.g. the school, tour operator, program organizer) or for
any other reason deemed necessary in the sole discretion of Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad. We also reserve the right
(without escort and without refund) to send home any participant who violates the rules stated above and throughout this
document. In this event, the return trip will be at the expense of the participant.

Liability
Program participants may be exposed to certain risks while studying abroad. These risks include, but are not limited to, acci-
dent and/or sickness without readily available medical facilities, the forces of nature and acts of war. By signing the enrollment
form the participant is acknowledging and assuming these varying risks.
Participants in any Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad program waive any liability against Languages Abroad/Teenagers
Abroad and its employees for any injury, loss, damage, accident, expense or delay caused by or related to means of transporta-
tion or lodging (including host families). The participant understands that he/she is traveling under his/her own responsibility
(if a minor, the parents or guardian assumes this responsibility) and releases Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad and its
employees from any liability related to health and safety.
Languages Abroad shall be responsible for providing the services outlined to the participant in the enrollment agreement. In
the event that the services and accommodation outlined cannot be provided due to causes beyond the control of Languages
Abroad/Teenagers Abroad, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodation. If, due to insufficient
enrollment, a class or program has to be cancelled, Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad shall only be responsible for reimburs-
ing the participant the amount of funds paid for the program (excluding any transportation expenses).
By signing the Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad enrollment form participants are thereby stating that they have read and
agree to be bound by all Terms and Conditions of Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad.
RightstoImage&FilmMaterial
By agreeing to our general terms and conditions, participants are accepting that Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad has the
right to use any photos, video and sound recordings which may be products without cost implication or the need for a sepa-
rate authorization from the participant throughout the course of a language program. These materials may be used by us for
promotional and marketing purposes.

Booking Procedure
Enrolling
All prospective participants must fill out the Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad enrolment form, providing us with their
personal information along with their language and destination choice. Upon receiving the enrolment form, a Languages
Abroad/Teenagers Abroad representative will check program availability with the requested school and create an open book-
ing (the program spot will not be guaranteed until Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad receives the minimum deposit- see
below). Participants under the age of 18 must also have their legal guardian complete a waiver form, stating the participant
understands Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad registration conditions along with the rules and regulations of the specified
program.
The enrolment and waiver forms can be found on the Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad websites, or students can contact
a representative and have it sent via email. Participants have the option of filling it out and submitting it online, or can print
out the form and email/fax it back to address provided. By filling out the enrollment form, participants are thereby agreeing
that they have read and understood the terms & conditions outlined by Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad. Once Teenag-
ers Abroad/Languages Abroad has received a participant’s completed enrolment form, a representative will send the program
request to the school, confirming availability. In addition, an email outlining this process will be sent directly to the participant.
Confirmation
Participants can expect confirmation for their requested program within 24-48 hours in low season (September-March) and
3-5 days in high season (April-August). Once a representative receives this confirmation from the school, they will contact the
participant by email, providing a program invoice and confirmation details. At this stage, the participant is asked to make a
non-refundable deposit towards the total price, thus securing a place in the program.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $400.00 must be made for programs less than $2000.00 and a % 20 non-refundable deposit for
programs exceeding $2000.00. The deposit can be made by credit card, bank wire transfer or cheque. The online credit card
form is available for download on both websites (Languagesabroad.com, Teenagersabroad.com) or alternatively, participants
can request that it is sent via email or fax. Payment is due no later than 45 days prior to departure. If a participant books
within 45 days of a program start date, they must pay the full amount of the program at the time of the booking. Once final
payment is received and processed, Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad will send the information package and any support-
ing documents. Final payment can be made by credit card, bank wire transfer or cheque.

REPRESENTATIVE AGREEMENT:
This document authorizes ..................................to act on behalf of Languages Abroad | Teenagers Abroad - SCI Travel Ltd
(Sprachcaffe International), Alamein Road , Pembroke PBK1776, Malta (the School), in the matter of counseling and recruiting
students to study at our schools.
1. Objective
The School offers language courses in China, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Cuba, Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Malta,
Canada, the UK, and the USA. The Agency shall be responsible for recruiting students to study at the School. The Agency is
also responsible for ensuring that all the necessary travel arrangements for the students’ arrival and departure are completed
according to their requests. Both parties have agreed to exchange all relevant information contributing to successful mutual
cooperation and to provide students with all the documentation and consultation required for obtaining visas.
The School shall admit students sent by the Agency according to the fees and dates published on the current price list.
2. Arrival and Departure
The Partner and the School know that the arrival day is Sunday and the departure day is Saturday (with the exceptions pub-
lished in the current brochure). Any changes made to this schedule are subject to extra costs, which the School will specify in
its final confirmation to agents.
3. Enrolment Procedures and Enrolment Confirmation
1) When enrolling a student, the Agency is asked to collect all necessary fees (including the non refundable fees and the docu-
ment shipping fee if required) and send the application form to the School.
2) Upon receiving the enrolment, the School will confirm the booking within 5 working days.
3) The School will send invoices and will provide information on gross price and service in its confirmation. If the Agency does
not agree with the services/prices stated, the Agency should make immediate amendments in writing. Otherwise, the school
will be of the understanding that its terms are accepted.
4. Confidentiality Policy
Both parties agree that all information provided will be used exclusively for confidential review by our accrediting bodies, for
application processing, and for statistical purposes.
5. Dispute Resolution Policy
In the event of disputes, the Agency will be asked to discuss the issue with the relevant Marketing Manager. If a resolution still
cannot be reached, the School will refer to dispute resolution policies which have been set forth by their accrediting bodies like
British Council, Instituto Cervantes or Accet. For Canadian schools, Languages Canada’s Dispute Resolution Policy will be used as
a final means of solving irreconcilable disputes, which will include jurisdiction under Canadian law if necessary. It is the respon-
sibility of the Agency to be aware of these policies and counsel their students accordingly.
In the case of cancellations prior to the course start (not related to visa issues), the following fees will apply:
level, smaller group courses or private tutorials for a reduced amount of lessons will be provided instead.
Under the rare circumstances of the School being forced to cancel, all fees paid for services will be refunded

6. Payment for Individual Students
The Agency is obliged to make full payment for services to individual students at least 28 days after the commencement of
the course. A copy of the bank transfer should be sent to the school. All bank-transfer expenses will be covered by the Agency.
Payments may also be made by credit card with a 2% surcharge.
In the case of payment failure:
• the School cannot guarantee to provide the relevant services to the students.
• the School will charge an interest rate of 1% on outstanding amounts for every 30 days delayed.
7. Payment for groups
For services rendered to closed groups, payments should be made as follows:
• 20% of the total amount after receiving the invoice
• The remaining balance should be paid 28 days before the course commencement.
8. Rebooking
Rebooking is possible, terms and conditions are shown in your brochure.
Afterwards we will do our utmost, but cannot guarantee the fulfillment of the request made, further more the rebooking
charge may also exceed the $65 / 50€ / 40£.
9. Commission
The agreed-upon commission will be:
- 15% on the tuition + registration fees + and 5% on accommodation placement fee and the first 4 weeks of accommodation
This commission will apply to all adults classes except Toronto school.
· 15% on total package prices of the current price list (Tuition+ Registration fee, accommodation + placement fee, transfers +
all supplements).
This commission will apply to a. All Juniors; b. All groups
10. Cancellations in case of visa refusal
In the case of a visa refusal we will refund all fees minus the non refundable registration fee (and shipping fee if applicable), as
long as the student provides the letter of refusal issued by the embassy at the latest 14 days before departure or as soon as
possible.
After this date, we will consider the participation of the student as confirmed and normal cancellation / rebooking fees will ap-
ply. In cases where the visa has not yet been issued 15 days before departure, we strongly recommend postponing the course.
In this case, the first rebooking fee will not be charged.

11. Normal Cancellations

In order to provide the letter of acceptance required by the embassy for issuing a visa, 40% of the total amount should be paid
together with an additional charge of non-refundable 80 EUR/ 65 GBP/ 120 USD or equivalent (in USA and Canada this amoun-
tis included in the registration fee); non-refundable shipping fees may apply.
In the case of a visa refusal a full refund, minus the mentioned non refundable registration fee (and shipping fee if applicable),
can only be made if the student provides the letter of refusal issued by the embassy at the latest 14 days before departure.
After this date, we will consider the participation of the student as confirmed and cancellation / rebooking fees will apply.
In cases where the visa has not yet been issued 15 days before departure, we strongly recommend postponing the course. In
this case, the first rebooking fee will not be charged.
After arrival, please consult the School for its refund policies. The U.S schools will follow the cancellation / withdrawal policies
as established by ACCET and the respective U.S. state.
Insurance on cancellation fees is available. This is 2% of the total amount (a minimum of $65 / 50€, non-commissionable). The
insurance must be settled upon registration and will only apply if a student cancels prior to departure due to health reasons
(on receipt of written confirmation from the relevant doctor).
In the unlikely event the School is not able to create a group course due to it not having enough students at the same time/
11. Contract Term and Renewal Policy
This agreement shall remain valid until cancelled in writing by either party, giving one month’s notice.
12. No additions and/or amendments to the present agreement shall be valid unless they are made in writing, stipulated in the
supplements, and signed by both parties.
13. Duration of the contract
The present agreement will be valid for one year after issue.
