2. “Scotland home of golf”- Richard (Scottish golfer)
Golf was originated from a game played on the eastern coast of Scotland in the kingdom of
fife during the 15th century.
Well known location for playing golf in Scotland is St. Andrews golf course.
The golf ball has an interesting development history: from hitting a pebble around a natural
course of sand dunes to playing with well designated golf balls that have dimples to increase
its efficiency applying the principle of aerodynamics.
3. The design highlights the pattern of the golf ball and encourages movement and
interaction within the kiosk.

process was to bring in
inspiration from golf and apply it
into the space and environment of
the kiosk.

10. The staff in the kiosk would be handing over golf balls
with the name of the company, branding message of
Caledonia being the home of golf to promote golf in
Scotland.
13. The kiosk consists of two layers: the
outer shell consists of similar pattern, the
hexagon. Hence, it can be connected like
a puzzle.
However, it requires a dome-like
structure to hold it.
The outer shell is intended to be
connected with the inner shell by metal
rods screwed circularly.
