Work–life balance is a concept including proper prioritizing between "work" (career and ambition) on the one hand and "lifestyle" (Health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation) on the other. Related, though broader, terms include "lifestyle calm balance" and "life style choices".

What do I do to achieve balance? …ongoing process and not until researching for this workshop have I really sat down and thought about it and I need to make some changes
Acknowledge the reality you are in. If you don’t design your life someone else will design it for you. Who manages the quality of your life. Emotional, Physical, Spiritual Side
This vision statement or goal setting ~ which we did a few weeks ago but these things are important.
Let’s just take a moment to pause and think of our lives……Let’s take out a piece of paper and write: 1. Where are you? 2. Take a moment and write down what do you value? 3. Are the people in your life happy? Friends, Mom, Dad, Uncles Aunt, Boss, Children, Sisters/Brothers? What Do You Value?To find out how to balance your time and resources between all the possible options available, you need to do some soul searching to figure out (if you haven’t already) what’s important to you. It’s easiest just to write out everything you can think of.
