I thought you'd appreciate this.
Was thinking about you saying "I'm making a monster here" while reading it ... :)

I'm going over all the material. You know what, without being too emotional, it feels like you've been
there forever and you know it all. Thank you so much Natalie. This is exciting and I'm learning *so*
much.
XV. Coachee
Hello Natalie,
Hope you had a great day! Just a quick note to let you know that I had my review and would love to
share then results with you. I found the review empowering and I can't wait to share why. Please let
me know when you are available.
XVI. Coachee's Boss
_____ definitely benefitted from the coaching experience. While I can't say there has been a dramatic
change, there have been several subtle changes which are adding up to a better atmosphere in
(coachee’s) group. I honestly believe he is trying which, to some degree, is more than I expected.
(coachee’s) group is under significant volume pressure but despite that, the team seems to be running
more smoothly.
XVII. Coachee's boss
Natalie - thank you very much. I think the coaching engagement was very productive for ____ and I
appreciate your helping her in this transition. I think your approach is really very strong and supportive.
You did a fabulous job keeping me in the loop and you were flexible to adapt your approach to meet the
unique situation here at (Large International Law Firm). I do hope we have the chance to work together
again.
Coachee:
Again, thank you for everything – I found our coaching time to be incredibly helpful. I thought you’d
appreciate knowing that I was so impressed and found our conversations, the assessment tools, etc. to
be so valuable to me, I helped my sister find a coach in Denver. She’s going to start a 6-month
engagement, and I hope she’ll get as much out of working with her coach as I did from working with
you!
XVIII. Coachee
"I was practically giddy yesterday...as I managed my day and people". I went from spending too much
emotional energy on trying to dissect people problems and a lack of confidence to yesterday,
confidently delegating work, sharing information and giving feedback." My boss calls it a "sea change".
.
XIV. Coachee's HR Director
Natalie - as we discussed I have started to see a change in (coachee) since you started working with her
one on one. She has asked me for feedback after meetings and she has pulled back on the Chronicle -
and does not take over steps (on the weekend) that she doesn't need to do because I have staff who are
responsible for those tasks. I see both those steps as an accomplishment because I see her wanting to
hear the feedback and wanting to help without taking over.
4. XX. Director
I can't thank you enough for your help with all of this. All three consider this to have been a gift and you
get all of the credit for that. I'm sure that we will continue to work together going forward. Many
thanks, again.
XXI. Coachee
Hi Natalie,
It was so great to see you today, if only for a few minutes at reception! I've been thinking of you,
particularly because I wanted to let you know that we found a great candidate for the ______ position
and extended her an offer. Fingers crossed that she accepts; she has asked for a few days to consider
the offer. I used the behavioral interview questioning you helped me with during the interview and it
made a big difference in terms of getting some great responses/insight into her personality and work
style. I think she's a bus driver, Nat!
Had a successful correction moment with E the other day - poor thing was so frustrated
(understandably) with a constant computer meltdown issue and her frustration was transferring into an
assignment (e.g. I don't think I'm going to be able to do...). I felt myself starting to feed into the energy
and the trigger kicked in. Yes! (I "let me think about it" in my mind) (:)) We talked it through calmly
and I swear she was looking at me almost about to say, I can't believe your reaction. Baby steps.....Do
you think it would be strange for me to ask her about it?
Thinking of you and hope you are well. Thanks for the tools!
XXII. Director
Thank you for all of your support and guidance in building such a phenomenal team!
XXIII. Director of Learning & Development
Thank you, Natalie. You make a difference.
