Learnmore is a website designed to help law students complete their degree successfully through 6 categories of information: Exams, Moots, Research, Newbies, Writing, and Careers. It provides tutorials, learning materials, exam preparation tips, guides to mooting and research, simplifying legal concepts for beginners, writing skills development, and information about career paths. While helpful, the site could be improved by streamlining duplicated content, highlighting essential information, and making some advice more specific to legal study rather than general.

which would be beneficial to law
students trying to complete their
degree successfully. It is
especially helpful for beginners.
 It contains tutorials and learning
materials which make a law
degree seem appealing and
interesting.

4. Exams
 This category helps law
students prepare for
exams.
 This reduces stress and
anxiety that the majority
of students face when
under pressure
 Provides useful
tips, which guides
students on how they
can achieve to the best
of their ability

5. Moots
 Mooting may seem
intimidating and daunting,
especially for first year law
students. However
Learnmore makes mooting
seem more approachable
and encourages students
to participate.
 The interactive posts on
the website motivate
students who are timid to
break out of their shell and
join the mooting world.

6. Research
 This category invites students
to approach research in a more
positive manner by setting the
first steps to assist students in
looking for the required journals
and books they may need.
Learnmore simplifies the
research by providing a guide
for students.
 It provides a virtual map of the
Law Library and details how to
get the best out of the materials
on offer. It also shows students
how to tackle the sources of law
which can be confusing to the
untrained eye.

7. Newbies
 This category is favoured by
beginners and gives them
reassurance that there is a
huge support system in the
background willing to help out
when required throughout the
year.
 Everything is broken down into
easy and simple steps which
makes it much more
approachable and less
daunting for students who are
just beginning their law
degree.

8. Writing
 A law student should be
assured of the fact that their
degree will require a large
amount of reading and
writing.
 This section of Learnmore
helps with essential tips and
skills which would be
required to produce an
acceptable standard of
writing, or even basic note-
taking skills.

9. Careers
 The careers section is one of the
most useful and helpful sections
on Learnmore, as it shines a light
on the dark tunnel of what comes
AFTER the degree.
 Different types of experience and
practices are detailed, providing
the students with a large array of
information which will no doubt be
beneficial in the coming years,
regardless of whether they decide
to pursue a legal career or not.

10. Improvements?
 As helpful as this site may be, there are
naturally going to be disadvantages as
well.
 Although the structure and layout make it
seem straightforward and clear, the sheer
amount of reading required to get through
the website could be rather off-putting and
tedious to any student wishing to get FAST
help. A student may lose their focus easily.
The important detail could be made more
obvious so students know where to look.

11.  There is also a lot of regurgitated information. What
you read in one section is what you will largely find
in another section as well. The repeated detail
could be removed.
 Some of the information is rather general and
applies to all the sections, and confuses the
student. This could all be avoided by placing the
same information in the same folder, reducing the
clutter on the website.
 Some of the information is vague – note taking tips,
for example, can be found virtually anywhere on the
internet, and the Learnmore section on it does not
offer any new techniques which are different to
what is mentioned in every other website. The
advice could be made more LAW SPECIFIC as
opposed to general information.
