You will get a chance to meet these outcomes again in future projects and so the process of reflection / feedback is essential if you are to improve on your grade/ the success of the following projects. Media Audiences and products Work that Must/ should, / Work you have completed What will you develop for could be submitted the next project Notes on audience research included, what is it, how is it carried out, how can you research the audience for your film? Must Audience profile created including the age, gender, genre preference, musical tastes, interests and demographic information about your typical audience members Must Research of other similar products and notes on how / why your audience are attracted to these products Should Notes on how you will address your audience, what style will they prefer, what soundtrack should you use? What mode of address will

Should Notes / a mind map of how a film may be constructed to address a specific audience, for example the use of special effects, particular genres of music, a narrative style, generic forms and conventions – shot types, cinematography, editing style, a famous director or famous actors can all be used to attract certain types of people to a media product Should Textual analysis of other films that are similar / inspirational to your ideas, analysing the technical areas of camerawork, editing, sound and mise-en-scene, looking at what techniques the film uses and what that means to you as an audience Must Notes of how you have used your observations from your analysis to fuel the ideas for your product and confirm who your exact audience will be Should Audience research questionnaire to establish the preferences of your targeted audience group , write some questions that will help you work out what that group like to see in a film and then find people to ask and use the answers to help you with your creative ideas Could
