“Pathways” – worst off third of Merseyside
38 different communities 500 people to 30,000

Transparent scoring to appraise bids

Merseyside as a whole is revitalised

Local Strategic Partnerships – across England

In Merseyside, City Employment Strategy created
6,500 short term jobs (Future Job Fund)
Social Landlords, working together helped many
to move to permanent jobs
