MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Between
ST . LOUIS PUBLIC SCHOOLS BEAUMONT HIGH SCHOOL
And
BANK OF AMERICA
Beaumont High School and the Bank of America agree to collaborate on a partnership arrangement for the
benefit of students in the Finance Career Academy that will include the following:
• A Bank of America staff person at the senior level to serve on the Finance Career Academy Advisory
Board;
• Bank of America staff persons to provide co-teaching time with Beaumont High School staff based on
the expertise and interest of staff persons with the course topics;
• Bank of America to support three students as summer interns for six weeks at a rate of pay of $7 per
hour for 30 hours per week with supervision;
• Bank of America Human Resources Officer to participate in the design of the summer internship
program, including the interview and evaluation process;
• Bank of America to host two Advisory Board meetings during the school year;
• Beaumont High School staff to keep Bank of America abreast of progress of the Finance Career
Academy;
• Beaumont High School staff to keep Bank of America abreast of test scores and progress of the Bank
of America summer interns in case Bank of America should want to employ these students.

2. Whereas both parties agree that this memorandum of understanding can be terminated with a 60-day notice by
either party or after 12 months of the date of agreement, and
It is agreed that this memorandum of understanding is for the period starting on July 1, 2009 through June 30,
2010 and it will be evaluated during June 2010 for the purpose of renegotiation.
