A report describes things by providing a general classification and discussing parts, qualities, habits, behaviors, or uses. For example, a report on butterflies would classify them as insects and note they possess six legs. A report also describes the way things are in our environment, including different types of natural and man-made phenomena. Organic waste, like food scraps and leaves, can be composted into fertilizer, while inorganic materials like plastics, glass, and tin can potentially be recycled or reused to make other products. Without proper waste management, littering can lead to rubbish slides, spread disease, dirty and flood environments, and even death of plants, animals, and humans.
