Human resources (HR) is the department within
a business that is responsible for all things
worker-related. That includes recruiting,
selecting, hiring, onboarding, training,
promoting, paying, and firing employees and
independent contractors.

HRM is the planning, organising, directing &
controlling of the procurement, development,
compensation integration, maintenance and
separation of human resources to the end that
individual, organizational and social objectives
