This project created a virtual reality experience of an offshore oil rig to improve educational methods using new technologies. The VR application allows users to interact with and learn about the oil rig platform in a 3D environment as if they were really there. It was developed using Google Cardboard to immerse users in the virtual offshore environment. The goal was to design, develop and test a functional VR application that shows an offshore platform in order to study the offshore environment and rules to build the 3D model and interactions. The application provides an interactive tool for the learning process by allowing users to experience being on an oil rig platform with a virtual guide and learn about the surroundings and signage.

Theprojectconductedontheframeworkofthestructureandsystemflowtoachievetheprojectobjectivethatcanbesuccessfully
accomplishedbyanalyzeVROilRigsexperienceusingGoogleCardboard.Therequirementanalysisshouldbeconductedinorder
toruntheprojectandaprojectframeworkcanbecreatedtoseeandunderstandtheprocessflow.Themethodologyisdivided
touser,googlecardboardandVROilRigsexperienceapplication.Toplaythisapplication,usershouldusegooglecardboardto
