4. Brief History of CPEC
• Since the period of Nawaz Sharif in 1998-99.
• Construction of Gwadar port in Musharraf era with the cost
of $248 million in almost four years of time, BUT
• The proper iniciative was took after the visit of Chinese
preseident ‘Li Keqiang’ back in May 2013.

5. Gwadar port: (The center of CPEC)
• Warm water-Deep sea port located at Arabian sea.
• South of Baluchistan, 120 km from Iranian boarder.
