What are your
hobbies?
- The first question I asked was what are people's hobbies. I asked this
question as there could be a hobby that someone does and someone
famous could have made a documentary about it before. This could
mean that they would have watched the documentary because of
them being interested in the activity or hobby, but it could also be
because they are interested in the person that got them into that
activity or hobby.
- As some of these hobbies are hobbies people have found interests in
themselves this means that they wouldn't have been interested
because of someone they follow which would of lead to them being
inspired. These hobbies people have picked would mean that they
have found interests for themselves.
- This context would of been more appropriate for the person who said
sport, as they could of been interested in that sport because of a
player that inspired them.
Have you heard of
Northern Voices?
- I asked this question as I did not know the Northern
Voices before this project, and I was wondering if my
audience was the same. The answers to this
questions means that people do know who Northern
Voices are and this could be because they knew
before this project or because they knew after they
read the brief for the project. For the people who said
"no" this reason could have been that they did not
know who Northern Voices where before this
campaign. Hopefully after they see my work and
understand this campaign that they would become
more familiar with Northern Voices.
Have you
heard of BBC
Three?
- I asked this question as I assumed
people would have heard of BBC
Three and could have watched
some shows that are on the BBC
Three. I was corrected as my
audience knows who BBC Three
are and are familiar with what they
do.
Do you like
documentaries?
- I asked this question because people in this age bracket 16–24-year-
olds might not choose to watch a documentary unless it is relevant to
what they like. This could be music, TV show or series, famous icon
and many other topics. Almost 60% of people have said that it
depends on what the documentary is about. 43% of people have said
yes which means that they could watch any type of documentary
because they are really interested in them. Or they could watch
documentaries based off people they are interested in and the
different people they follow could have made loads of different
documentaries and could get them into documentaries.
Have you watched a documentary before?
- I have asked this question because I was curious to see if people have
watched a documentary before. From the responses I got all of the people
have watched a documentary. This means that my audience have got a
good understanding of what a documentary can include, what they are
overall about and how there is different genres of documentaries and
different types of documentaries that people might not of known until they
research into documentaries.
-
- The overall results I have gotten from my audience feedback is helpful as
it gives me a overall understanding of what my audience are interested in,
what they already know about documentaries. Asking the question "what
are your hobbies" is also helpful as it means that the documentaries they
have watched could be related to their interests.
