MOHIT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, LAL BAHADUR MOURYA, PRAMOD KUMAR PRAJAPATI (B.Tech C.E. final year)
Under the guidance of: MISS. VIJAY LAXMI AMBEDKAR ( CIVIL ENGG. DEPARTMENT )
OBJECTIVES
RESULT & CONCLUSION :
1. Hostel is economically feasible.
2. Problem for residence of student will be solved.
3. Provides infra structure to college.
4. Provides better and hygienic condition for students.
5. The hostel has capacity of 200 boys.
FUTURE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
REFERENCES:
ADVANTAGE
1. Design of hostel has vast application in construction of various civil
engineering structures, like design of residential buildings, hospital
buildings and other buildings.
2. Future scope of lies in its practicability and for achieving prospect, the basic
aim of developer lies in setting up a new structure i.e to provide facilities to
user and to decrease the problem for which structure to be constructed.
ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY
INTRODUCTION
DESIGN RESULT
METHODOLOGY
1. This project is about design and estimation of boy’s hostel in SRM
University, deva road at Lucknow.
2. The building is proposed as 3 storied (G+2 ) R.C.C. framed structure
supported on beams and columns. The planning and subsequent
construction included both Architectural and Structural design.
3. The boy’s hostel has capacity of about 200 boys. The type of rooms is
rectangular. Mess is maintained on co-operative basin.
4. Our aim is also to estimate the boy’s hostel and give the possible
minimum total cost of construction.
1. A hostel should be planned to make it comfortable, economical and to
meet all the requirements.
2. Structure should sustain all the loads and deformations of normal
construction
3. To provide the good facilities to the student and to create a healthy, eco
friendly and hygienic environment for good study and to fulfill all the
requirements of a good hostel.

COLUMN FOOTING
1. Seeing the future growth of the college the large part of the success of the
college depends upon the infra structure and facilities which are provided.
2. To provide adequate supply in adequate manner economic consideration is
acceptable because its one time investment which will fetch in the upcoming
years.
1. It provides the good facilities to the student and create a healthy, eco-friendly
and hygienic environment for good study.
2. The Structure will sustain all the loads and deformations of normal
construction and use and have adequate durability, resistance to the affects
of misuse and fire.
