Long
• Staying productive at work, or
while working from home, is a
challenge. Our burden can be
lessened by learning some key
lessons about ourselves and
our bodies. “Personal
productivity is a key
differentiator between those
who succeed in their chosen
field and those who do not,”
says Brian Tracy, author of “Eat
that Frog: 21 Ways to stop
Procrastination and get More
Done in Less Time.”

• Generally most people
complain how they’re not
successful or wish they could
be like “fill in the blank, ”but
the secret is that there isn’t a
secret. You have to work hard,
stay productive, and use your
time wisely in order to
succeed. Let’s take a look at
how you can boost your
productivity and get more
done in less time!
3. 1. No breakfast – No energy
• Certain breakfast foods increase
your productivity, and give energy
for a good start of the day. Having a
good source of vitamin B in the
morning can also improve your
concentration and help you think
more clearly. If you are in a hurry,
get at least a glass of water and a
glass of fresh juice. You will help you
organism not to dehydrate, and get
a vitamin boost from the early
morning. This is way healthier than
a cup of coffee on an empty
stomach.

4. 2. Plan your work!
• Have a To-Do List for the day. You should prioritize the urgent
tasks, and take on pending issues from the previous day. This
way you’ll be able to concentrate on bigger projects and tasks.
Not having a plan will hinder your concentration, and you
might miss important tasks. Thus it is advisable to do small,
urgent, or irritating tasks first to have the rest of the day with
an open and clear mind for more creative tasks.

5. 3. Say NO
• It’s always good to help your
colleagues and friends, but a day
only has 24 hours. A lot of people
have a hard time saying “no” to
others, and end up taking on a bigger
load than they can handle in a day.
Getting interrupted, shifting to doing
something else, and then going back
to your task can really hurt your
productivity. Moreover, in order to
stay productive, you also need to
rest, thus you cannot fill all your day
with work tasks.

6. 4. Take breaks and relax
• People can be focused on tasks only up to 90 minutes
productively. Taking short breaks increases your
productivity at work, so make it a habit to get up from
your desk periodically and talk with colleagues, have a
snack, do small exercise, or any other activity to help
your mind relax.
• Don‘t make those breaks too long, though. 5-10
minutes of rest will help you stay active longer, and
start the work with a fresh mind. If you are stressed,
then close your eyes and breathe deeply for a few
minutes, and you will be surprised to notice how
quickly you can calm down.

7. 5. Use the right tools at work
• There is plenty of free and
easy-to-use software to
boost your productivity and
make your job easier. Use
Dropbox or Google Drive to
store files online. Mark your
ideas or record problems in
one place with Evernote.
We cover this sort of thing
on a regular basis. Check

articles to make your life
easier.
8. 6. Use a timer
• Divide your working hours into working
sessions of 90 minutes each. To stay focused,
use a timer, such as Pomodoro. If you want
something more complex to keep a history of
your tasks and working hours, you can use the
Mobile Worker Android application.
