10.  Set in the present time – in modern day
 The time span is a period of 3years
 John’s first meets his double one evening on 18 January
 For the next 2 years, he meets his double on the same
date and at the same location
 There are also mentions of what happened in the past
through the narration of Mrs. Fischers.
 The reader can get a feel of the turbulent times during
the 1940’s , right after the Second World War and
during the Revolution in Hungary.

