Cooking show Choose a type of cooking show or a game show– made up, or similar to an existing one –
sat morning kitchen, masterchef, competition style ……..deal or no deal, who wants to be a
millionaire etc.
Use one of the themes in iMovie (film strip for example)
YouTube annotations You will add annotations to your opening sequence to explain how attracts/appeals to your
target audience

A group of media students were assigned to complete a film opening sequence,

Each of our reporters complied a list of all the forms within
___________(genre) film opening sequences, here they are: (show list with a
voiceover)
Likewise, they also completed a list of conventions, here they are: (show list with a
voiceover)
Then anchor tells 1-2 forms and 1-2 conventions. And then each ‘reporter’
completes their 1-2 forms and conventions.
You are responsible to find your own cutaways.
Vary your locations and be creative!
