This document discusses different learning styles and theories, including visual-auditory-kinaesthetic (VAK) learning styles and Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. It encourages the reader to complete two activities to determine their preferred learning style according to these theories and add this information to their learner profile. The goal is to help the reader understand how they learn best so they can make the most of their strengths and develop their weaker areas, which is important for success in school and beyond.

Visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners
• Visual – Seeing and reading. (29%)
• Auditory – Speaking and listening. (34%)
• Kinaesthetic – touching and doing. (37%)
Visual – Diagrams, charts, pictures, PowerPoint,
video or posters.
Auditory – Sounds of voices (teacher, student or

6. Multiple Intelligence Theory
• GOOD NEWS!!! Everyone is equally
intelligent – in different ways.
• There are around 8 ‘intelligences’ or things
that different people are good at.
Most of us are strong in
about 3 of these areas.
If you know your strong areas
you will know how you learn
best.
You will also know how to
develop your weaker areas.

which will help you find out what your preferred

you add what you find out to your learner profile
