This document is a project report submitted by Minakshi Jayappa Bansode to Shivaji University in partial fulfillment of an MBA degree. The report studies the effectiveness of training on employees' skills at Mahatma Phule Anusuchit Jati Jamati Shetkari Sahakari Soot Girni in Wagholi. Through questionnaires and interviews, the report finds that most employees believe the training was effective and helped improve their skills, knowledge, confidence and job performance. It provides suggestions such as conducting more frequent training programs, assessing training needs regularly, and inviting diverse trainers. The conclusion is that the training imparted meets its objectives of enhancing employee performance and skills.

3. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY :
Training is the process of assisting a person for enchanting his efficiency
and effectiveness at work by improving and updating his professional
knowledge by developing skills relevant to his work and cultivating
appropriate behavior and attitudes towards work and people.
Training is different education particularly formal education. While
education is concerned mainly with enhancement of knowledge, training
aims essentially at increasing knowledge, stimulating attitude and imparting
skills related to a specific job.
It is continuous and life long process. Training provides an atmosphere
of sharing and synthesizing, with the help of the trainers, the information
already available on the subject. Training is a time bound activity program.
Thus there is a specialized discipline of trainers socializing in the field of
human activity.
INTRODUCTION :
This particular topic is selected because employee’s training and development
plays vital role in the growth of the organization. Every organization needs to have
well trained and experienced people to perform the activities that have to be done.
MAHATMA PHULE ANUSUCHIT JATI JAMATI SHETKARI SAHAKARI SOOT
GIRNI NIYAMIT, WAGHOLI has been continuously training their employees. This
study has been conducted with a view towards being able to contribute to the programs
in an constructive manner.
The entire project talks about the training and development in theoretical
as well as new concepts which are in trend now. The first step in my study is to find
out effectiveness of training and development in achieving the goals of the company,
to study the different methods of training followed at in MAHATMA PHULE AJJ
SHETKARI SAHAKARI SOOT GIRNI NIYAMIT. The study uses a questionnaire
prepared for evaluating various factors which affect the effectiveness of training and
the results are displayed in a table and graph format. Conclusions are arrived based on
the sample.
4. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY :
1. To examine the effectiveness of training in overall development of skills of
workforce.
2. To examine the impact of training on the workers.
3. To study the changes in behavioral pattern due to training.
4. To measure the differential change in output due to training.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY :
• Sources of data:
To determine the appropriate data for research mainly two kinds of data
was collected by namely primary and secondary data as explained below:
• primary data :
The data, which were collected a fresh & for the first time and thus happen to be
original in character. However, there are many methods of collecting the primary data
all have not been used for the purpose of this project. The ones that have been used
are:
1. Questionnaire
2. Informal interaction
3. Observation
• Secondary data:
Secondary data collected from a previous researches and literature to fill in the
respective project. The secondary data collected through:
1. Provides reports on training effectiveness.
2. Related information from internet.
3. Books and publication.
FINDINGS :
1)Most of the employees has get on the job training and others has get off the job
training.
2)Most of employees say that they are strongly agreed to the training method used
during the training were effective for understanding the subject.
5. 3)Maximum no of employees says that they are strongly agreed to using the skills
&knowledge learned during training.
4) Most of the employees say that they are strongly agreed to the training they
received was a part of organizational strategy. While some employees saythat they
are agreed to the training they received was a part of organizational strategy.
5)Some of the employees suggested that the job environment is supporting for the
use of new skills and knowledge.
6)It has been seen that maximum employees say that they are strongly agreed to
the result of training contributed to bringing about positive changes among the
employees.
7)Most of employees believe that the confidence level and their ability to perform
better has improved after the training.
8)Some employee’s say that they are excellent workplace of the training is
physically organized.
9)It has been seen from analysis that maximum no of employee’s say that they are
satisfied with the effectiveness of training program.
SUGGESTIONS :
1. Provide adequate training program to each and every person arranged
accordingly. The result of the training program should be analyzed
and training should be arranged periodically.
2. Company has to introduce effective training in every department of
the firm so as it help to learn more knowledge in the subject.
3. Provide employees motivation programs and other training programs
for the department towards the profit making.
4. On the job training and off the job training is equally important
provide both the training continuously to the employees.
5. The training needs may be assessed regularly by observing the
performance of employees and also from feedback.
6. The training records may be maintained, preserved properly and updated
timely.
7. Trainers need to be given continuous feedback and training performed
as a continuous planned activity.
8. Invitation of new and different trainers will get maximum impact. It
can be got from the training programs.
6. CONCLUSION :
Analysis of all the facts and figure the observations and the
experience during the training period gives a very positive conclusion
regarding the training imparted by the Mahatma Phule AJJ Shetkari
Sahakari Soot girni niyamittrainers.
The Mahatma Phule AJJ Shetkari Sahakari Soot Girni is
performing its role up to the mark and the trainees enjoy the training part
specially the practical session and simulations.
This study was a learning for me and I came to know the training
and development by time and they should know their strength and
weakness so that they can work on it and improve their knowledge and
skills for the betterment of their organization.
The training imparted meets the objectives like:
• Effectiveness of the training and its resultant in the performance of the
employees.
• Assists the employees to acquire skills, knowledge, attitude and
also enhance the same.
• Helps to motivates employees and helps in avoiding mistakes.
