Born in Foggia (Italy), 1962 Degree in Physics at the University of Pisa, Italy with a thesis on the application of radio frequency spectroscopy techniques to study the adsorption/desorption properties of polymer surfaces. Ph.D. in Microsystem Engineering at the Scuola Superiore S.Anna, Pisa, Italy, working on the realization of an array of micromachined neural electrodes interfacing the Peripheral Nervous System with external robotic limb (“Neural Prosthesis”). Interests and expertise focusing on sensors/biosensors, silicon micromachining and marine technologies.
