Continuing with the success…
• Prioritize, assess, re-prioritize, plan, and implement projects in unaddressed watersheds
• Monitor recovery
• Celebrate accomplishments
• Maintain existing treatment systems
• Protect from other sources of degradation
• Maintain funding (Title IV AML Fund Expires in 2021…we have to start thinking about that now!)

Research what the funder wants: Find out everything you can about the funding entity, strategic plans/resource management plans/mission/etc, look into other projects that were funded (is funder big on partnerships, supporting innovative technology, does not like to fund salary/admin so all in-kind/match), geographic focus area, who will be reviewing (technical background? If not, will have to drum down the proposal) etc.
