A sales professional with a technical background, specializing in open source software in general and databases specifically. Originally a C / RTOS programmer, I transitioned to databases initially as a developer, then project leader before moving to sales via technical sales engineering roles. I joined MySQL in 2003 and ran sales @ MySQL France. In 2010, I co-founded and worked at SkySQL through the merger with MariaDB and a B-Round of $25M lead by Intel. In 2015, I took a peak at the world of NoSQL with Riak before transitioning over the HAProxy to develop sales in EMEA.
