This presentation discusses an automated approach to airborne LiDAR quality analysis and quality control (QA/QC) based on the USGS' National Geospatial Program LiDAR Base Specification Version 1.0. It presents a fully automated process for analyzing LiDAR data to verify compliance with project specifications. The goals are to check all LiDAR data quickly and accurately, provide quantitative and qualitative results, and catch problems early. Results include comprehensive QA/QC of the entire LiDAR point cloud without manual sampling.
