The sun, the eight planets, their moons, and the dwarf planets form the solar system. The eight planets that revolve
around the sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
Sun: the sun is a huge ball of fire the gives us heat and light, and is at the center of our system.
Mercury: it is the closest planet to the sun and also the smallest planet.
Venus: it is the second planet, it is the hottest planet.
Earth: it is the forth planet. It is also called the blue planet because of 70% water. Earth is the only planet where life
exist.
Mars: it is the forth planet. It is called the red planet because the soil and rocks on this planet are red. Scientists
believe that life may exist on mars.

4. Jupiter: it is the fifth and the largest planet. Jupiter spins very fast, it forms striped pattern also.
Saturn: it is known as a planet with rings because of the dust and the rocks in the space.
Uranus and Neptune: they are the farthest from the sun and are called outer planets.
