Systems Software Programming Specialist
Team member in a 7 person team to install and maintain 3rd party software on servers. Also team member for
supporting the DISCoE (Data Integrity Solutions Center of Excellence).
 Supported DISCoE with an emphasis on using Infogix solutions (ACR, Assure, and Insight) by
performing the following functions: Business Analysis; Data Integrity Controls
Assessment/Recommendation; Infogix Controls Integration, Development, and Documentation to
minimize risk and increase compliance to ensure file validity, improve customer/user productivity;
Project Management/Administrative support for the DISCoE
 Led the effort to move the Ariba suite of products to move to another network layer within HCSC.
 Customer Support of the hosted/cloud solution (ASP) for Compliance 360.
 User support for the internal Callidus users so they can connect to the Callidus Incentive Manager
via Citrix.
 Migrated the Callidus suite of applications from an on-premise installation to an ASP solution.
 Coordinated the installation of several hotfixes and service packs for the following applications: SAP
Ariba, CA Clarity, IBM IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Callidus.
 $5 million in software and hardware costs approximately saved in the first year when we
implemented ITAM at HCSC.
 Initiated and coordinated communication with vendors to resolve 3rd party application issues.
 Migrated and upgraded the on-premise Ariba suite of products (Buyer, Analysis, ACM, Sourcing)
using the SDM (Solution Delivery Methodology) with the Ariba vendor.
 Worked with architecture teams to ensure that new applications had the server and network
requirements for a successful installation/deployment.

2.  Coordinated application testing for enterprise wide upgrade to Windows 7, IE 11 and Chrome
browsers.
 Upgraded a mainframe application, IL Away from Home Care, to use a new EZTrieve complier.
 Utilized Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) as IT Lead for IT Asset Management (ITAM),
Minitab, Callidus TrueComp and TrueInformation on-premise applications for support, software
application installation, and maintenance: planning, documentation, testing, deployment, and
configuration.
 Coordinated the implementation of single-sign on (SSO) so it worked from two other applications
(eSales and BlueAccess for Producers) to the Callidus suite.
 System Administrator for Corporate and Financial 3rd party applications, focusing on software
installation/maintenance, and infrastructure support.

troubleshooting).

Sr. Software Engineer (Universal Base Station - UBS) (2005 to 2006)
Team member in a three person team in a start-up organization within Motorola to plan, develop, execute, and
maintain the SCM solution which supported four sites.
Responsibilities included:
 Lead SCM representative for RAPID’s (Radio Access Platform Innovation Development) 2005 TL9000
(ISO9000-like) audit. Results: successful, no findings. Updated the Compliance Map for SCM in
preparation for the audit.
 Improved the build cycle time by 9X overall by piloting and deploying a third party vendor, Electric
Cloud (emake), throughout UBS Arlington Heights.
 Deployed CMBP – Configuration Management Blue Print – (ClearCase and ClearQuest) and other
common tools (SSMT (code counting tool), CRISS (inspection tool), DCML (documentation
configuration management library)) across UBS in four sites. Kept the tool configurations up-to-date and
became the UBS/RAPID champion for these tools.
 Expert (performing some admin tasks) of ClearCase 5.0 environment for UBS.
 Led the effort to upgrade the existing cross-compiler set used by UBS development to the new
MontaVista compiler toolset.

Worked in a team to transition development from their current SCM solution to the common organization SCM
solution.
Responsibilities included:
 Implemented a 20% decrease in Customer Reported Unique Defects (CRUD) post M-Gate 3 by updating the
GSM/GPRS Build tools to build development source code using Klocwork 6.0 to enhance quality. Klocwork
is a suite of tools, which analyzes source code to find issues with memory utilization, reverse engineer design
from code, etc.
 Transitioned GSD (GSM/GPRS, EDGE, and UMTS) from GSD EEG ClearCase to CMBP ClearCase.
