  ROBOTIC AID FOR
COMMANDO OPERATION

 Terrorism and other security issues - headache for countries.
 Large amount of money has been utilized for defense purpose.
 Huge consequences of terrorism.
 Commando Operation- Defense Mechanism of India.
 Aim of this Project- Enhance Commando Operation.
This embedded system has two units - user side and vehicle side .
 Heart of both sides- AT89s52.
 User side- control keys, display, buzzer etc
 Vehicle side- Sensors, video unit, arm, etc
 Wireless transmission- Both side has ASK transmitters and
  receivers.

Video Section
 It consist of two sections- user side , vehicle side.
 User side:

       used to control the vehicle and monitor the results.

       Power Supply-provide necessary power to device..

       8 control keys for controlling the vehicle.

       Core of the units is microcontroller-AT89s52.

      ASK Modules-for transmission and reception.

       Output device-LCD display, buzzer, pc.
 Vehicle side:

     6V battery –provide power

     Microcontroller- central part.

     Sensors- Human body detector, gas detector, metal detector

     Stepper motors used for controlling vehicle wheels

     DC motors used for arm movement

Metal Detector
 1) Keil IDE.
 It combines project management, make facilities, source code
editing, program debugging, and complete simulation in one
powerful environment.


2) PROTEUS.
 This software could design and simulate the hardware and
  software of the embedded system.


3) DipTrace.
 It is software for creating schematic diagrams and printed circuit
  boards.
User Side
Vehicle Side
 It can enhance the operation of commandos.


 It can detect the presence of metallic explosives and weapons.


 It can detect the presence of highly inflammable gases and
  other poisonous gas weapons.


 It can detect the presence of human being including terrorists
  hidden in buildings.
 The current system we designed can only be operated on
   plane surfaces.


 Only limited number of gases can be detected.


 Type of metal cannot be distinguished.
 It can be used in defense mechanisms.

 It can be used in disaster fields.

 It can be used in gas plants for gas leakage detection .
 Soldiers die upon reactive, spontaneous rescue / encounter

operations due to lack of adequate equipment.

 It can be reduced by implementing mechatronic rescue tools

for planned rescue operations .

 We hope that our robot can enhance commando operation.

 This robot can also be used on disaster situations.
 The system can be used more efficiently if it is able to move
   in non-planar fields. It may need mechanism for flying
