What is gender violence
 Violence against women is one of the most significant
human rights problems in universe particularly in
developing countries like Bangladesh.
 Oppression is to be cruel or injustice treatment/ behavior
or control that produce mental pressure/ distress.
 Magnitude of Violence:
 It may be defined as a physical, mental act of aggression on
a single individual or a group. Results in physical, emotional
assaults leading to sufferings, trauma for the victims,
directly affecting the individual, society the nation
Women's social crisis:
 Through gender-based labor divisions, the
work has been set for women, in which
there is no social value even though the
intimate touch of the heart is involved. In
the traditional patriarchal society, these
works are considered worthless or
worthless ...
 Among the poorer people in the world,
women are the poorest and their number
is about 70 percent. Women own only one
percent of the world's total wealth. It is a
tool to sustain discrimination and exploit
women.
