Basaran Ship Building & Repairing Co. was established in 1989 in Tuzla Area, Istanbul to provide marine repairs, ship-buildings, lmarine equipments manufacturing, technical supplies and marine environmental protection services since twenty years.
Basaran Ship Building & Repairing Co. has continued to grow and able to achieve high quality services. Basaran always emphasizes customer satisfaction and provides quality services to customers namely Government Agencies, oil and gas companies, marine and shipping companies, engineering and construction companies. Our company philosophy is "To Serve the Best" to our clients and to keep good business relationships with our clients for win-win business situation.
Basaran build more than 50 vessels includes barges, tankers, tug boats, pilot boats, pusher boats, fishing boats, oil recovery boats, garbage recovery boats, dredgers, passanger vessels...etc.
Basaran was one of the first mobile sub-contractors to offer a ship-repair service in TURKEY. Basaran has specialised in the repair of bulkers, LNG carriers and oil/chemical tankers and now offers services more than five main areas. This include total shipyard services on behalf of owners, agents, and brokers; total engine repairs or reconditioning; steel renewal and pipework; overhauling; propeller shaft repairs; electric-electronic works…etc.
Since it had first started to its operation some 20 years ago, the group has always been the biggest player within marine sector and still continues to claim for providing the highest quality standards in the service.
Another activity that Basaran Group has for the past 5 years been able to offer spot assistance in the event of an oil spill and Marpol 73/78 waste sludge/ bilge/ ballast water/ garbage collection services. We started building steadily over the years our own anti-pollution inventory including own fleet anti-pollution vessels...etc.
