What is an intrapersonal learner?

  • I like to set goals for myself, self-
  manage my work and reflect on the
  results.
What is a Logical/Mathematical Learner?

Logical-mathematical intelligence means one
possess the ability to understand complex
problems, both logical and mathematical. This
intelligence asks questions, finds solutions, and
reflects on the problem-solving process.
Visual Learner
What is an Visual learner?

  • I am a visual learner in the sense that
  I rely on things I read to create a visual
  picture that I can exploit later when
  taking an exam or writing essays.
English 20

English 20 is an advanced writing course that
builds upon critical thinking, reading, and writing
processes and emphasizes rhetorical
awareness by exploring reading and writing
within diverse academic contexts. I will have to
appropriately shape my writing for types of
genres and audiences .
Technologies
Combining these three types of learning styles, the three
most beneficial learning technologies I can use to utilize my
learning styles with this English class are:


    • Google Docs
    • Search Engines
    • Google Notebook and Evernote
GoogleDocs
• All of my assignments can be stored and edited with
Google Docs meaning I can work from any source with
Internet access to access my files. This will utilize my
intrapersonal intelligence because I can organize my
different files thereby creating a connection between the
different material and gain understanding by finding their
similarities.
Search Engines
• Search engines allow students to type in a keyword, phrase, or name
and instantly get websites pertaining to one’s topic.This will be crucial
for this particular class because I will constantly need to search for
sources and topics for my essay writing. Using search engines such as
Google will amplify my logical-mathematical intelligence. I need to think
about what I am trying to learn as a puzzle or a formula and concentrate
on the words to bridge mathematical and verbal logic when sifting
through various search results.
Google Notebook and
        Evernote
• Google Notebook: With the basic function of Google
Notebook I will be able to clip anything from the web into my
notebook, so I can easily access it. Also when I'm doing
research in Google Books and Google Scholar, I can clip
excerpts from books and articles into the Google Notebook.

• Evernote: Evernote’s image recognition feature makes
handwritten notes searchable, so I can take notes on paper and
then save them electronically, so I can more easily search and
edit my documents.

• As a visual learner, technologies like Google Notebook and
Evernote will help me with my visual organization.
In conclusion, all of these
technologies will help me learn
 better in accordance with my
 personal learning styles while
    taking this English class.
