A sales engineer stays current with
knowledge and has a drive to understand
how things work and to constantly be
learning new things. Be the expert.

A sales engineer meets deadlines and puts in
whatever time and effort is required to meet
those deadlines. Be timely.

A sales engineer is a technical advisor and
mentor for account
managers, customers, integration, and peers.
Be helpful.
Principle #5
A sales engineer is part of the sales team
and responsible for driving new business and
accountable to forecasts and financial
targets. Be an entrepreneur.
