– Apply for Grant Money from State or Federal
– Begin EPS collection
• Quarterly public collection days
• Supply a storage container at your transfer station
– Contract with ReFoamIt for removal
– Transport direct to Rhode Island using your vehicle and personnel
– Provide education to residents about acceptable material
• EPS must have recycle symbol #6 on food related items
• No tape, cardboard or labels attached to Styrofoam
• Containers must be rinsed to remove food particles
• Packing Peanuts must be left in clear enclosed plastic bags
• No trash or foreign objects mixed in
• EPS can be left in plastic bags (these bags will be recycled)
• Plastic utensils collected separately
