A photostory of my visit to the US National Arboretum in January 2016, looking at signs and labels at the Washington Youth Garden, the National Herb Garden, the Grass Roots outdoor exhibit, and the indoor Bonsai exhibition: Winter Silhouettes. The photostory highlights various sign and label techniques in the landscape, and invites the viewer to consider questions regarding sustainability, and the drama (intentional or not) that can be created with dialog between objects, signs and the viewer.
