I. OBJECTIVES MELC: EN7OL- 1Ve-3.10 Use correct and appropriate multi-media resources when orally
giving information, instructions, making explanations and narrating events in personal
and factual recounts.
 Understand given instruction
 Give information correctly
 Make simple explanation;
 Narrates important events in factual and personal recount.

III. PROCEDURES
A. Establishing a purpose for
the lesson 1. Tell to the class about the pink envelope you received from Korea.
2. Ask a student to read the letter inside the envelope.
3. Discuss the rules, objectives and materials needed during the discussion.
B. Reviewing of previous
lesson or presenting the
new lesson
At the Airport (Word of the Day)
1. Lead the student to the airport and introduce the word which will be commonly
used during the tour.
Before riding the plane (Review)
(To the airstair)
1. Ask the students to look back and ask them to guess the pictures discussed during
the past lesson.
Arrival to Hyosan, South Korea (Pre-Test)
1. Ask the students to answer the mystery questions which are related to the tour that
they will experience.
Entering to the Hyosan High School (“Guess that Gibberish”)
1. Introduce to the students the game that they will play.
2. Ask the students to guess the gibberish words connected to the lesson.

1. Discuss the different multimedia resources.
Guide Questions:
What multimedia resources do you usually use when doing your
homework/projects?
What multimedia resources do you seldom use or are hard to use?
Multimedia Resources:
1. Text materials
- Simplest and oldest form of any piece of written materials which is still primary
way to transmit information
-Can be used in writing instructions, making announcements, giving information,
narrating events, and many others
2. Photographs and still images
-Oldest form of media
-Can be used in writing instructions, making announcements, giving information,
narrating events, and many others
3. PowerPoint Slides
-Developed by Microsoft and is usually used for educational purposes
-Comprised of slides which may contain images, texts, etc.
4. Audio Files
-a record of captured sound that can be played back
anything related to sound in terms of receiving, transmitting or reproducing or
its specific frequency.
5. Video Presentations
-a presentation that can be shared and viewed as a video.
-a video in which multiple slides are used along with audio, video narration along
with animation, images to communicate certain specific information with an audience
in an engaging manner
6. GIFs and Animations
- Graphic image files (GIFs).
Small files that present a single image or rapidly display of sequence of few images
to give the appearance of motion

complete the dialogue.

1. Ask the students the following questions:
Are multimedia resources helpful to you as a student? How?
How do you select/choose the right multimedia resources?
2. Discuss to the students the uses of multimedia resources and the guide in
choosing the correct multimedia to be used.
Activity 2. TV Commercial with a Heart
Directions: Choose one TV commercial which depicts values about family or friendship.
In a 5-10 sentence paragraph, discuss the impact it has to you.
Rubrics:
● The content is relevant and well-explained. (4 pts.)
● The thoughts and ideas are well-organized and coherent. (3 pts.)
● There are no errors in grammar and punctuation. (3 pts.)
E. Developing Mastery
(FA#3)
Directions: Identify the multimedia resources used in the following tasks. Refer to the
options inside the box for your answers.
1. Discuss water cycle to your classmates.
2. Film yourself doing the exercise routing in MAPEH
3. Add some moving objects as design in your slides
4. Record your singing voice.
5. Submit a printed output projecting as one of the characters in Greek Mythology,
wearing that character’s emblem.
6. Write a persuasive essay about the importance of wearing mask in this time of
pandemic.
7. Make a food vlog.
8. Submit a summary of “Ibong Adarna”.
9. Paste a family picture in your Portfolio.
10. Present and explain the difference between Enhanced Community Quarantine and
General Community Quarantine.

Text materials - Simplest and oldest form of any piece of written materials which is still primary way to transmit information -Can be used in writing instructions, making announcements, giving information, narrating events, and many others 2. Photographs and still images -Oldest form of media -Can be used in writing instructions, making announcements, giving information, narrating events, and many others 3. PowerPoint Slides -Developed by Microsoft and is usually used for educational purposes -Comprised of slides which may contain images, texts, etc. 4. Audio Files -a record of captured sound that can be played back anything related to sound in terms of receiving, transmitting or reproducing or its specific frequency. 5. Video Presentations -a presentation that can be shared and viewed as a video. -a video in which multiple slides are used along with audio, video narration along with animation, images to communicate certain specific information with an audience in an engaging manner 6. GIFs and Animations - Graphic image files (GIFs). Small files that present a single image or rapidly display of sequence of few images to give the appearance of motion Activity 1.
