Personal Profile
HND qualified CADD Engineer with extensive customer facing experience drawn from a number of
service based roles looking to develop into a role within Design as a Design Engineer. Interested in
opportunities to develop on current skills including Product Design, Concept Design, 2D & 3D
Modelling, Project Management, Graphical Illustration, Animation, 3D Printing, IT, Planning and
keen to continue onto further education as a day release or night school student.
Achievements
I have recently passed the Autodesk Inventor user exam which gives me a globally recognised
credential which proves my proficiency. During my most recent project I designed and modelled a
fully functional V4 Twin Turbo formula 1 engine, part of my design included a working prototype, an
electrical prototype and a 3D Printed model, this has put me ahead of most others due to the fact I
now have hands on experience with 3D Printing which is set to be a dominant method of mass
production in the near future. I have recently completed a HND in CADD also attending the
Motherwell Campus of New College Lanarkshire which leads the way in World Skills for the UK
reaching top 3 ranking each year within Mechanical Engineering Design and is the only College
within the UK to be given accreditation by the Institute of Engineering Designers which fortunately
gives myself membership, as the IED only gives accreditation to Universities offering graduation up
to Honours level, this gives reassurance that my education has been taught and learned at the
highest possible level and makes me more than ready for industry.
