Rationale:
What
can
I
learn
from
a
zombie?
How
do
I
make

feed
my
zombie
friends?
These
and
other
burning
questions
will
be
answered
during
the
four-‐week
learning
camp
at
MUMS.
Because
adolescence
is
such
a
transitional
and
unique
time,
our
curriculum
will
provide
both
direct
instruction
and
hands-‐on
learning
opportunities
that
combine
academics
with
a
camp-‐like
experience
so
that
students
will
practice
and
acquire
many
of
the
concepts
and
skills
important
to
middle
school.
As
part
of
their
program,
students
will
budget
and
cook.
Also,
students
will
plan
and
perform
scenes
from
the
comedy
“All
I
Really
Need
to
Know
I
Learned
From
Being
a
Zombie”
at
the
conclusion
of
our
time
together.
