Current research project (2014-16), financed by the Academy of Finland, concerns industrial citizenship and labour mobility in the EU. Awarded a three-year post-doctoral research fellowship by the Academy of Finland on “The labour process at Nordic factories in Russia”, 2011-13. Defended dissertation on Nordic FDI and labour management in the Baltic manufacturing industry in 2009. Published in international journals such as the IJHRM, WES and EJIR on labour management, trade union strategies and labour processes. Expertise in labour market regimes, quality of work life, investment strategies and human resource management. Specialties: The Baltic States, Russia, global value chains, migr
