PROFILE
I am an Accounting and Finance BSc (hons) graduate of Canterbury Christ Church University. I finished my
studies with lots of practical business experience and a can-do attitude. I am currently seeking an opportunity
that will help me to begin a career within accounting and finance. I wish to become a fully qualified ACCA
accountant.
I have an independent outlook and have funded living away from home by working alongside studying. I take
pride in working hard to achieve personal and professional goals. I enjoy networking both socially and
professionally, as I believe that this is key to generating opportunities within business. My current position at
Sefer Hotels lets me enhance this skill regularly, as I meet and accommodate for new people and

DR Car Detailing and Valeting - This is a business owned by my older brother, and I setup the branding,
financial systems; including invoicing, a cash flow log and a simple forecasting system. I also organised the
development and manufacture of a car air freshener exclusive to the brand DR Car Care. Most recently I
have setup an online retail facility to sell this product and new products as developed.
Bloomberg Aptitude Test (2014) – Scored highly in Economics, News Analysis and Financial Statements.

Duke of Edinburgh Chase Hike Winner (2010) - Worked as part of a team of four to win an annual 15 mile
night time hike.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Front of house | Sefer Hotels Jul 2012 to Present
I started as a Kitchen Porter and have progressed into the role of Barman and Waiter, with responsibilities
including managing the main bar. There is a heavy focus on meeting customer’s expectations and needs. I
am responsible for preparation and presentation of customer bills and taking payments. It is a diverse
position, being able to work in all areas of the hotel, including recently introduced a more efficient stock
control system for the business. It is a people business that I really enjoy working within to deliver highest
customer satisfaction.
Selling Assistant | John Lewis Oct 2011 to Dec 2011
I worked as a Selling Assistant on the linens and haberdashery department. During this time I also received a
John Lewis Customer Appreciation Award for my excellent customer service during the very busy approach
to Christmas. I had responsibilities including face-to-face sales and processing till payments.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
In my spare time I enjoy rebuilding, riding and maintaining my motorbike and I am currently working on
attaining a full motorcycle license. I am passionate about all forms of motorsport, competing in the British
Schools Karting Championship during Sixth Form and plan to one day race in National motorcycle
championship.
