Executive Summary
SanAntonioKlick
Problem
San Antonio has long prided itself as being "Military City USA," a city rich in businesses, nonprofits, and
government resources. There are over 226,000 small businesses in the San Antonio Region. The majority of
our business community supports the military and are willing to contribute so much more if given the right
opportunity.
Currently, there is a lack of connectivity and engagement between the military community and San Antonio
businesses, although the intent is clearly visible. Tackling this issue would allow for stronger bonds, the
creation of opportunities, and a clearly defined measure of our strength as a community.
Challenges
1. How to provide easy access to businesses who provide discounts, perks, and resources to the military?
2. How to encourage businesses to join together, promote greater involvement, and gain higher levels of
support.
3. How to hold businesses and organizations to higher standards of service?
4. How to identify veteran owned businesses?
5. How to recognize businesses and organizations for their contributions to the military community?
6. How to make local events, seminars, and gatherings more accessible?
Problem to Solve
Overview
It is our mission at KLICK to create a platform that allows for meaningful engagement between the military
community and the business community. The soul purpose is to change the way we show appreciation to
our service members, their families, and supporting businesses. This allows the community as a whole to
connect, create opportunities, and grow together.
After interviewing active duty military, veterans, businesses, non-profits, and local agencies, we made it a
point to not only understand the underlying issues, but also to make every effort to create a viable and
strong solution that solves problems.

What’s Next?
Create a Movement
We are currently working on plans to launch a campaign supporting an important social movement; challenging local
businesses and organizations to come together and stand up publicly to show their support for those who serve.
The anchor for this campaign is 10,000STRONG.
10,000STRONG represents businesses coming together to make a meaningful and impactful change in the way
businesses and organizations service and connect with the military community. It is around this anchor that we will launch
a social media campaign in conjunction with community reach outreach initiatives. This will act as a magnet to bring
together businesses and the entire community as a show of force and unity.
There is so much potential for positive energy, momentum, and opportunity. We are not blind to the fact that this is a
great undertaking, and we cannot do this alone. Klick is providing the vehicle for engagement. It’s the military and
business community, the city and its people who are the engines.
We are creating partnerships with organizations who truly care and can tightly align with our mission to support and assist
the military and business community; and have a clear vision and understanding that our strength as a city comes from
our ability to unite and work together.
As a community we will make a real difference.
Join 10,000STRONG
