Our study lies in the area of Theoretical and Computational Physics, more specifically in Quantum
Field Theory applied to the Strong Interactions. We performed state-of-the-art studies of hadron
properties, in the context of the theory describing nuclear forces: Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD).
Our calculations involved the renormalization of composite Quantum Field operators probing the
interior of nucleons, and extensive numerical simulations of the Lattice formulation of QCD
in dedicated supercomputing laboratories.
Our research was funded by grants from the University of Cyprus, as well as the Cyprus Promotion Foundation.
